Last week was the end of our 18th week of homeschooling and tomorrow is the midpoint of winter. It is hard to believe, but we are halfway through. In some ways it feels like it has been ages to get to this point, but in others it seems like I blinked and here we are.
Our homeschooling has changed dramatically since I made my plans back in August. There are very few books/curriculum that we are still using.
I have a lot of experience homeschooling elementary school. I’m not necessarily good at it, but I am experienced at it. Middle school and high school are a whole different beast. Not only is the material more complicated and “important”, but I find that documentation is where I really struggle. Our house is a mess of folders, binders, random pieces of paper, stacks, spreadsheets, etc.
This week I will share what we are doing NOW in our homeschool experience. I’m not sure that we will still be plugging away on these things at the end of the year, but right now, they are what is working for us.
